We talked, drank wine, ate great food
We laughed, complained, and completed thoughts without being interrupted
We watched a ballet based on the music that had glued our friendship for life
We wore pretty clothes and tried not to yawn on the way home
We felt very lucky to have friends and family that loved us enough to make it happen
